Recent Hood undergraduate alums, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree within three academic years of enrollment in a Hood graduate program (excluding the doctoral programs), are eligible for a tuition waiver of their final 3 credits in the graduate program.
Eligibility will be verified by the Registrar’s office upon receipt of this form. It is the student’s responsibility to complete this form prior to their final semester. Failure to do so will not result in a retroactive credit, nor cash paid out.
The ALTY tuition waiver can only be used by eligible students in good academic standing and without any financial holds.
The ALTY scholarship provides a tuition waiver for the final 3 credits in a program. It does not cover comprehensive, textbook nor other fees associated with that final coursework. If final coursework is more than 3 credits, the waiver covers the 3 credits only and the student is responsible for tuition for additional credits.
The ALTY tuition waiver is a one-time benefit that cannot be combined with other scholarships, nor does it have a cash value. Be sure to check if this scholarship impacts your loan status or package with our Financial Aid Office, if applicable.
Hood College has the right to bill the student recipient for the full tuition amount of this final course if it is not completed within one calendar year after its scheduled end date.
